I am 37 weeks pregnant with my second child and just wondering if it's normal to have no braxton hicks?
I was getting them regularly now they have dissapeared all together.
I thought you got more as labour approaches, has anyone experienced this?

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE THOSE AT ALL DURING PREGNANCY. ITS NOT AN INDICATION OF ANYTHING REGARDLESS. IM ON MY THIRD AND NEVER HAD THEM UNTIL MY THIRD, I GET THEM EVERY SINGLE NIGHT WITH THIS BABY AND IM 37 WEEKS, I HAVE BEEN SINCE 34 WEEKS

I just recently had a baby and I don't think it is uncommon for the braxton hicks to slow down and subside when you are close to labor. As long as the baby is moving you have nothing to worry about. My doctor told me that braxton hicks are irregular and subside when you change positions, activity level, or even when you drink water.

I had no noticeable braxton hicks at all with my pregnancy and I was told that it wasn't a problem.

I had them once at about 13 weeks, but I was a little dehydrated. Haven't had them since!

I was the same way with my second child. I think it is normal. You will be fine.
