she have 16 single bcome no. 1 hit. n she is the most succesful female artist ever in the history. every record she made sold more than million. So here u can see how much ppl like mariah carey, including me.

As far as her personality goes, I've always loved her. She's a very sweet, kind-hearted individual. But I think her style of music isn't my taste now. She's appealing to the more modern sounds and to the younger crowd. And, even though I'm only 21 years old, I grew up listening to her older stuff. Her beautiful ballads and lyrics, but now, it's like, she's not wearing enough clothes for her age, and her music doesn't prove her real vocal and writing talents, so I don't get her albums anymore.

She has a wonderful voice and her songs are good but they get played out too quicky and when i hear them it just frustrates me.
