Being white trash was once a mark of shame. People who associate themselves in a positive manner with hillbilly standards like trailer parks, pickup trucks, mullets, Harleys, pit bulls, John Deere tractors, smokeless tobacco, etc. How is it that it's suddenly become trendy to be culturally retarded?

Because in this world we have become an instant gratification society and people don't want to try and think about what is socially acceptable anymore, so they just act like @ssholes and no one makes a comment because it's not "politically correct". The only time a man treats a lady like a lady anymore is when she is his boss or he is trying to get in her pants, if he does respect he he treats her like "one of the guys" and ladies don't treat a man like a man, play mind games with them, demasculate them and call the dogs on regular occasion. No one wears proper clothes to offices anymore, casual Friday has turned into casual week , and the nice and flattering dress has gone the way of the high-heel in turn for the flip flops that are common under ballgowns these days and chivalry is dead. Welcome to the millennium. I think it's sad too, I miss the 20's

for one thing, i like harley davidson they make a mean bike, I love ford Pickup trucks, but chevy makes 'em better, i have a pitbull tied up out back, and boy she is a beaut., I have a john Deere and sometime's I'll even ride it up the road to the store, I like my dip, as long as its mint flavored in the packets. I dont have a mullet but i sure do have a billy ray cyrus cd and he got one. I dont live in a trailor park, but them boys sure know how to party and i guess if that makes me a redneck hillbilly then so be it, I'm from texas i dont give a damn what you think.
