yeah i have a really good tan, i dont think royal blue would look as good as a orange or red!!

I'm acutally thinking you should get the Royal Blue. In my opinion, that color looks good on anyone. But w/ your skin type (judging by your avatar) orange might look okay you might be able to pull it off but red would be beautiful

Remember this is an official function, so it is better to be a llittle on the conservative side. Unless you are stationed in Hawaii or California (hot locations) skip the orange dress unless it is closer to dark orange - not tropical. Looks like you were not thinking about the month of the ball. Take it from me - every other woman there will be in a red dress!

I really love the dress. It is so unique with the style and color. My sister went to the Marine Corps Ball a few years ago and she had a blast. Hope you do too!

Your dress is beautiful. I wore a dress similar to this one for a huge function. I wore it with silver shoes (like Cinderella) with clear straps. I also, carried a small silver clutch bag. Don't over do it. Keep your breasts in tact by using a little bit of tape. The dress is revealing, so be careful. Those Marines will LOVE IT.

That dress is amazing, The orange is beautiful, and its around the halloween season, so its deff. a good pick right now, but dont over do it with assecsories, keep those to a minimum

to me the color is too spring, if the ball is in November I would go for the blue.

it depends on what shade of orange, bottom line, if it looks good on you and you feel good in it, then go for it!
