I guess it's because they can chat with their friend's and relatives without having to pay any phone bills. Plus you can decorate it to your preference and this is like the only time it's all about you. It's become so popular that people just jump onto the bandwagon. I really can't figure this out, it's definitely not for me.

In "our world" MySpace serves a great purpose. We keep in contact politically, socially, and musically. We love to share what is going on and the bullitens can be very much like Yahoo answers. We help each other. Everything can be abused and misrepresented, MySpace is no exception. Use it like you do the Yahoo Answers, be discriminating and take some with a grain of salt.

Trends come and go, myspace is just on top for now, and it seems to be faltering lately... Finally! Youtube is another website that has grown over the past year or so.

Because it takes most of what people like to do on the internet and puts it together in one interface. You dont have to open different pages to do different things, it's all there - email, photo sharing, music, dating, classified ads, now they have TV, movies, horoscopes, comedy, etc. etc. etc.
It's also because everyone's page is connected. So, you have a friend on your friend list, every time you go to their page, you can be nosey and see who's commenting them and who their friends are....then you see who their friends are and look at all their pictures.
I can spend hours and hours clicking on one person's page and going to another and another and another....lol
ok, so I have no life....I used to be a myspace whore... I deleted it now cuz it caused me relationship problems lol.

I really don't know what all the fuss is about my space. I think it's lame and a waste of space for a computer. Very dangerous for kids and teenagers who pose their pictures and chat with strangers. Who could be sex offenders waiting for there next victim. So my opinion would have to be it sucks!!!

I beief is My Space is full of 13 & 14 year ols saying they are 18 & 20 & then 40 year old pervs saying they are 20.

i dont know some people are on myspace becuz everybody iz on myspace and they think that bein on myspace makes you cool but it doesnt. to me myspace iz good for making friends and chatting to your friends of making a profile.but some people iz on myspace for dating and starting **** with other people on myspace, that iz how i feel about myspace

I think it is so people can easily keep in contact with their friends. You get notices when people write blogs about live events, and you can get to see what they are up to.
