Yes, if you love animals it can be a very rewarding career. Keep in mind, most zoos require keepers to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. Go here for more information and current job openings so you could see what common pay rates are:

There is always a need for people to work with animals, and it can be a good job if you love animals. I am not sure that it pays very well, but if you like that type of work, then go for it. I used to volunteer for our local zoo when I was a young teen, and wish that I had taken that route and become a keeper.

Depends on what you think is good. As far as financially, then no, zoos normally dont have a lot of funding to spread around. But if working with animals makes you happy then do it, its up to you!

It would help if you were able to get a volunteer position at a zoo for a summer. You will have to start at the bottom of the heap
In school - start to take biology courses and animal husbandry - even veterinary courses.

newborn ate too lots candy the day beforehand of this and is ill, darn could desire to stay domicile. Stole too lots candy from newborn's Easter basket, i'm ill...darn could desire to stay domicile. considering that Easter falls on a Sunday and as a result we are cheated out of a time without work of artwork i'm making the Monday following Easter an exact trip. additionally any excuse containing the words "explosive diarrhea" or "STD flare up" gets you an afternoon or so off no questions asked.

personal expierence.working in a zoo is hard demanding work. you may or may not like it, that depends on your personality and personal prefrence. i liked this the best of any work i ever done. it isn,t high paying or easy but i found it to be rewarding. (you also have lots of fun watching people there!)

you can go to the zoo and volunteer ,go into this if you really like animals , the volunteer work will help you decide

if u love animals then go for it another would be workin for a vet as a kennel person or tech and u dont have to have experiance just learn fast and b ready to help
