do you think people are going to have your answers on relationship problems for instance?

It really depends on the questions rather than subject matter I asked for help with a dog problem and the response's mostly helpful that were given proved to be the right answer. Reading the answers before deciding what answer I'll give if any shows that most people are serious. So if I posted a question on a relationship with a man/woman I'm sure I'd get at least one response that would help.Bet some-one out there has had a similar experience.
You will get some advice that is totally useless, (some idiot told me to punish my dog) but if the majority say Go to a Vet I'd see that as the best answer. People who give good advice are doing it to help you. The advise you take is really up to you.

I've had some very good advice given to me on 'Answers". But, if I had a major relationship question, I might not look for the answer here. I don't like the smart alec answers given by some people. Bad enough to be feelin crap without some smart **** rubbing it in. Mostly, the people on "Answers' are sound as a pound, though.

Why Not? When a person is searching for a solution to a vexing problem,no matter if minor or major still needs a solution and then when a solution is offered that just might work does it matter where the solution is offered. I don't think so and then why bother taking the time to post the question unless one expects to , hopes to find a solution to the problem. This is the electronic age and this medium is more than likely more used to get information and to get help than any other.

Good question.

The problem is that you're getting advice from complete strangers, some of whom may have their own agendas/grievances.Also,they know very little about you,and real life situations are often far too complex for a site like this to be of any help.Another thing is that too many conflicting answers will only leave you more confused.

I've looked through a lot of answers and have asked some as well. Some people truly do give their input and advice some people are just mean and useless. I look at it as it can't hurt to ask... just take what you read with a grain of salt just like most things.

no one can really answer relationship questions because only one side is telling the story so all the information isn't given to give real good advice

Yes but obviously they will just take the advice they want to and not necessarily the best advice
