I heard you have a waiting period before you can get remarried in the state of Oregon after a divorce but I have heard different lengths of time, does anyone know the real answer.

To those people upset with me asking that question I'm not jumping in to anything we have been seperated for 4 years the divorce was just paper work we moved on awhile ago. The divorce is new but as far as moving on we had 4 years to do so.

The day after the divorce is finalized. I have been divorced twice in Oregon (born and raised here). If I could have married my now fiance at that time last year, I would have, but we decided to wait until next year!

The only waiting period in Oregon is waiting for the divorce to be final for a day.
