Soccer.
Your leg muscles are your biggest muscles and you use them to run back & forth but you don't have to use your arms too. Also, especially with women who have inferior upper body strength, soccer is easier to play.
One more thing, you don't need as much coordination in soccer. You need some but not as much.
Plus you don't need arrow straight aim because your goal is so big compared to the precision it takes to make a basket into such a small rim.
In basketball you have to use more of your muscles, i.e. triceps, biceps, so you'll get tired faster.

Typical ignorant american answers (i am american btw). I played both in high school, and one year of basketball at a D-2 college. There is much more going on in soccer. The people saying it is just running and kicking have most likely never watched a soccer match.

Soccer is much more physical. Flopping has becomea recent trend which makes many thinkit is a soft game. However, during the entire game you are getting punched, kicked, and tackled. There is one break in soccer, halftime. Other than that, its 90 minutes of running. Not being able to use your arms makes it difficult. Tell me, kick a basketball or shoot a basketball, which will you be more accurate with? of course shooting because hand-eye coordination is more easily developed than foot-eye.

Basketball requires more total body control. However, the numerous breaks in gameplay allow it to be played by very unathletic players. (i.e. sam perkins, robert 'tractor' traylor, jahadi white) NBA basketball caters to its superstars. It is designed for Wade, James, and Bryant to dominate by calling a touch foul when they drive to the basket.

In summary, soccer is much more difficult. But an american will say basketball because he refuses to watch a soccer game.

this is an open-ended question... the answer depends on different individuals... it depends on whether you are better with your hands or with your feet... for me, i think basketball is easier because of 1) a smaller court, 2) easier to score, 3) easier to find a basketball court in the neighborhood than a soccer field...

The answer here depends on the player. If one is more comfortable using his feet and coordination that way, then soccer is the easier sport. If one is masterful with his/her hands, then basketball should be easier. Both require constant practice and coordination without necessarily seeing the ball.

Niether are easy, but in my opinion, soccer is more simple. There are more plays and specific rules for basketball. BBall is a difficult sport to master, but once you do, it's easy as eating a piece of cake.
If you are looking for an easy sport, go for the soccer, but if you are looking for a great game to enjoy, pick basketball.

soccer, cuz you don't even need to worry about what you're doing with your hands. In basketball you have to run and dribble at the same time!! way crazier
