Usually with half time and quarter breaks and timeouts and such, games will last anywhere from 2 1/2 hours to 3 if there's OT.

Mens and womens NCAA basketball is 40 minutes, 2 twenty minute halfs, overtime periods of 5 minutes each
Womens WNBA is 40 minutes, 4 ten minute quarters, overtime periods of 5 minutes each
Mens NBA is 48 minutes, 4 twelve minute quarters, overtime periods of 5 minutes each
FIBA basketball 40 minutes, 4 ten minute quarters, overtime periods of 5 minutes each

they play 4 12's. so 48 minutes

its 4 quarters. and the quarters are usually 8 minutes. so you do the math. plus they have time to warm up. so maybe longer. maybe like 10 minutes warm up before the game..

4 quarters.....about 2 -2 1/2 hours, but OT can hav it be 3 hrs...its worth it to watch

the game itself lasts 40 minutes (college) but you have to allow time for the commercials and junk.
