By the way the world is going I am not surprised at all. I wouldn't be surprised if it does happen in the middle of the US. Like in Oklahoma or some place like that.

Not one bit.
Hawaii is known for its volcanic activity. The forces that cause those fancy light shows causes earthquakes as well.
Now if the earthquake hit Iowa, THAT would surprise me!

Not really, Hawaii is the largest active volcano in the world, i believe. the island is made up of magna(?)..so i would think alot of shifting goes on below the surface..
