When I am out shopping at the Co-op, I am uncontactable, having dumped my pager- Should I invest in a mobile telephone?

definitely, they're very inexpensive these days (get the cheapest pay as you go if you don't think you will use it much) & you might find it useful in an unexpected situation or emergency

I would definately get yourself a cheap pay as you talk mobile phone.

You can now buy them from just £18.00 - You could pay the same for a decent pager but you get all of the extra features plus you can actually talk to the person there and then should there be an emergency.

Nothing worse than receiving a pager message about something crucial and then trying to find the nearest phone box!

God no - are you really sure you want to be bothered at the Co-op?

I mean, it's all very well to get text messages while you're at the theatre or a concert etc - but the Co-op? Come on, some things are sacred.

Anyway, as I asked my other friend (or the other person I'm stalking, in other words) where the hell have you been? Don't stay away so long next time.

It's always a good thing to have a pager or a cell phone. That way if someone needs you, they can contact you.
