Well many people jumped to the conclusion that the cheetah is the fastest land animal, but since you didnt specify which class of animal you were looking for, they are all wrong. No doubt, the cheetah is the fastest MAMMAL, but the fatsest animal on the planet is actually the Tiger Beetles.
For their size they are the fastest running animals on the planet.

Cheetah is the fastest animal. But he can only maintain his velocity for short distances. It can run up to 60 mph.
