it is probably the gas they used during the procedure, but I would call a nurse just to make sure. My pain was in my shoulders, not my chest. try and walk around a bit, this will get things moving if it is gas. If you feel like you can't breath you should see a doctor.

YES!!! I have had 2 C sections and when you have gas trapped in your body it can go up either way and yes it is painful,,,,,you should try to avoid drinking from straws and any carbonated beverages....it eases up after a week or so and you can go back to normal eating habits

YES! Youre DR should have prescribed you an anti gas pill.....Or you can get over the counter gas x. Gas is common after an invasive procedure such as a c-section. I had 4 of them!

HELL YES! Mine was crazy to the point where you could feel the bubbles in my belly!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ek! It was terribly bad, and I even became constipated and had to have what I call a butt rocket! It went away, but yes, my c-section was terribly painful, it took a good 2 months to get to a point where the pain was somewhat tolerating. Even after one year now, I still get pains here and there. Goodluck!
