I'd say Cincinnati, just too conservative, no "young professional" parts of town, and not much to do. The people are friendly, though

Anniston, Alabama,,, this is a town that when I was there was hugely a poverty town with a major army installation by it. They have since lost that installation so I know they are only worse than before.

For sports, I'd say Elizabeth, NJ because they're just vicious to my fave athletes. For politics... whichever city Bush is from in Texas. I totally agree with you on hating anywhere that's too conservative. Bleh...
