my boyfriend a pool table for his birthday, are there different brands and makes?If so does anyone know what the best kind is, money is no object when it comes to my babe!

i dont know about specific brands but get a full size one (not a bar pooltable) if he can fit it in his house. remeber he is going to need about ~4 feet around the table to make adequate. when you go to a place that has pool tables go to a local place and ask what is a good brand... if your bf doesnt play alot then he wont know good table brand or not so dont buy a really exspensive table. concentrate on the accessories. i perfer normal regular pool ball not the fancy ones.... its more guyish, and chalk is chalk. and a set of 4 cues there are differant kinds of ball racks so get a triangle and a diamond one. thats the basics

if he is just a casual player get him a book with rules to fun games (not an intimdating bible) maybe a pool que rack depending on the budget it may be good idea is to get him a GC so he or you both can pick out your own personal pool ques. if you have a particular room already in mind you probbably want to get some stools so that people watching can see the table and sit and have a drink.
