Miss Kitty sat there at her window, dreaming her usual dream. You know, the one about Matt Dillon...that's right...the impossible dream. She watched the night sky and marveled at the beauties of nature. She watched in awe as a star shot across the blackness of space...she remembered the song that she had been taught as a small child and started singing it..."Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket, save it for a rainy day...." She was interrupted by a commotion in a nearby bush..."Oh, it's the birds and the bees. They're at it again," she muttered, her love starved voice beginning to crack. " Seems like everybody is getting some, except me. Even Festus is happier these days. Ever since he met up with that lady from the traveling circus, I haven't seen much of him. Talk about strangers in the night...what a pair, they make."
Just then there was a knock on her door. "Come on it, it isn't locked." In strolled the big man, himself. "Hello, Kitty, I wondered where you were. Why don't you come downstairs and share a beer with me?" He stood there, looking at her in his usual, casual stance. " Why,Matt, you know I'm a member of AA,now. I've given up drinking." "AA? I didn't know that. Since when?" Since LAST year!! You know, when I open up my soul and share things with you, it would be nice if you paid attention, occasionally." She got up from her perch at the window and stormed past him. Matt grabbed her arm. "And just where do you think YOU'RE going? He smiled as he kept her from leaving the room. "I'm going anywhere that you're NOT!!!",she yelled, trying to break away from his hold, and yet feverish at his manly touch. " Kitty, it's time you and I reached the next level of our relationship." "Humph!", she grumbled. "WHAT relationship? You mean this goofball thing we have, where you plop yourself down, get a free beer and then saunter away, happy as a lark? That is NOT a relationship!"
"Kitty, it's time we took this up a notch, and I don 't mean the kind of notches I've carved in that log down at my office." "Why in the world would you carve notches in a log?", said Kitty as she looked up toward his gorgeous face. "It's the only way I know how to wwwwork off all the ...hhhheat,I feel, after being around you." He stuttered clumsily through his first romantic sentence EVER delivered. " Come here,Cowboy." They fell into each other's arms and then onto the bed. "Kitty, is there anything you'd like to say, before I ravage you?" "Yes ,Matt, there is." And with all the gusto of a horny old broad, she belted out the words to that old familiar tune...."IT'S NOW OR NEVER!!!!"
Now I'll try to figure out who recorded those great songs.
"Catch A Falling Star" Perry Como
"The Birds And The Bees" has been recorded by a number of singers, including Alma Cogan in the United Kingdom.(Wikipedia) Also, Jewel Akens and Sam Cooke.
"Strangers In The Night" Frank Sinatra
"The Impossible Dream" From "The Man From La Mancha" Sung by many , including Glen Campbell
"It's Now Or Never" Elvis

Its important that parents tell their teen kids about THE BIRDS AND THE BEES. They have the choice and most parents tell themselves ITS NOW OR NEVER. This is because the don't want their teenagers running around doing it with STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT. Also, some teens chase THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM of finding the right person to do so with so young. But most adults know that it is easier to CATCH A FALLING STAR than to do so that young.

Strangers in the night can be dangerous. Do you remember what I told you about the Birds and the Bees? So be careful, its now or never and then you'll regret not using the buddy system. It's the impossible dream to always be safe so catch a falling star while you can!

It's now or never; catch a falling star or the strangers in the night will take them for you. I know you make it seem like it's the impossible dream but please, child... haven't I already told you about the birds and the bees? It will all be over soon.

Its now or never if you want to catch a falling star
I know we'll push, but how far?
Strangers in the night try to acheive the impossible dream
The birds and the bees never seem to change the way they play
Why should they?

We were just strangers in the night [Frank Sinatra]. He looked at me and I looked at him, and the impossible dream [Peter O'Toole] crossed my mind. The birds and the bees [Martin Dean] sang their siren call, and I had to make a move. It's now or never [Elvis Presley], I thought to myself. This is my only chance to catch a falling star [Perry Como].
xD hope you liked it
