Oh wow ... those were utterly fantastic! Haven't read Eragon yet though ...
Have you read any of the Edge Chronicles books? -- "Beyond the Deepwoods," "Last of the Sky Pirates" and "The Curse of the Gloamgloazer" ... I think you can start with any of these cuz they're the beginnings of three different sequences.
Also, it's kind of an easy read but they're lotsa fun: Charlie Bone books are friggin' awrsomne [sic] ... It's kind of like a school for kids with abilities, like young Silvertongues, Dustfingers, et al. ... It's subtly reminiscent of Harry Potter-ish kind of stuff, but totally different. And much like Silvertongue and Megs and (what's-his-name, the other guy who can read in and out of books), Charlie can travel into photographs ... I dunno ... give it a go ... they're a fun, light read. Think the first one is called Midnight for Charlie Bone ...
But yeah, try some other Cornelia Funke books ... I really liked The Thief Lord (and there was a follow-up book to that one ... I really really reeeally liked that ... but yeah, Inskpell and Inkheart were superb books! I think I'll read them again, now that you've reminded me ... Thanks!
Oooh! Someone above me suggested the Artemis Fowl books! Yay you! I loved those books! To that person, you should read 'The Supernaturalists' by the same author.

Those are some of my favorite books too. I would recommend King Fortis the Brave - it's a great book that kept me turning the pages. I thought it was better than Inkheart and Inkspell, and every bit as good as Eragon and Eldest.

have u examine her different books like the Thief Lord and Dragon Rider. they are stable books. so some distance as different fantasy books that should remember on your age and your reading point. while you're allowed to envision books with mature content fabric i could advise the two the Forgotten nation-states or Dragon Lance series. while you're into historic past quite attempt the books by utilising Marion Zimmer Bradley. they are stable. while you're into the supernatural Laurell ok. Hamilton is a physically powerful author yet her books have a exceptional form of person content fabric in them and u can not quite examine them till you're approximately 18.

Hi there. I'm the author of a new medieval fantasy series that you might like. The title of the first episode is THE BLACKGLOOM BOUNTY. It's 445 pages of action, adventure, magic, mystery and mayhem. If you are a fan of Conan, LOTR or Harry Potter books, this is one you'll enjoy. A Hollywood producer said it was, "Like Braveheart meets Lord of the Rings." (See other comments & reviews below.)
Good luck, whatever you decide to read!
Jon F. Baxley (Author, Editor, Ghostwriter and Proofreader)
THE SCYTHIAN STONE (eBook only)
THE BLACKGLOOM BOUNTY (eBook and hard cover)
THE REGENTS OF RHUM (coming fall '07)
Major Media Reviews:
Publishers Weekly
STARRED Review. A fast pace, sly humor, amusing dialogue and a richly researched background lift Baxley's fantasy, the first of a new series set in medieval Britain. When Merlin's long-ago apprentice Kruzurk Makshare (aka the Boozer) receives a dreamlike visitation from the legendary mage, he learns he must destroy another former apprentice, the villainous Seed of Cerberus. To do so will require a visit to the demon-guarded Blackgloom Keep. Enter young Daynin McKinnon, who discovers a curious rune-covered headstone, which may be the fabled Blackgloom Bounty, and brings it to Kruz's attention. Kruz believes it will provide entry into the fortress, while Daynin hopes the sale of the stone will restore his family's fortunes. The colorful cast of good guys and ne'er-do-wells includes the Pictish ghost of Brude McAlpin liberated from his tomb, assorted pursuing Caledonians and a bemused Prior Bede, whose monastery serves as a hiding place for the Blackgloom Bounty. Suitable for fantasy enthusiasts of all ages.
