I feel like i'm never included in any thing and everytime I ask and question about something they look at me like im stupid. Is this common in the work place???

20 years?? OMG Are you the only woman there or something. Maybe your asking a stupid question (to them). Sounds like you have job security and all... Hope there is no friction.. I have experienced similar stuff (have never been at a job that long) and it's usually someone who is threatened by me. Like I'm going to take their spot or something..

For some reason they seem to resent you being there. I find their actions more than childish and just plan rude. You have two choices. You can ignore them and let it eat you up inside or you can just one at a time confront the one that is being rude to you. Sometimes when a person is confronted, they realize that they can no longer treat the other person in the way that they had been.

This isn't going to help, but it is a fact of life:
Anyone who has worked a day longer than I have will treat me like scum. Anyone who has worked a day less than I have is a rookie.
This is similar to the question of who the rich peolpe are- the answer is anyone who makes at least a dollar more a year than me.
