I don't think so. I've never had any luck with the stuff either. I think you can stick a hardhat to a steel beam with it, but I haven't tried it...

Not exactly. Super Glue doesn't stick 2 steel together, or 2 aluminum sheet together.

Well, is very depending on the material. SuperGlue is just a product name, sometimes quite misleading. As the old todds said, use the correct medicine to cure the correct disease.... :)

Superglue doesn't sticking your fingers at all in any case. It is all because our cells is a living things. Our cells breath and the outer layer is always a dead skin to act as our 1st layer of body protection. If you apply super glue, you are just apply it to the dead cell actually, and will peel off eventually. Even if you apply straight after you clean your fingers, the breathings cells will create air void during the process of your applying glues. Hence, witht the air void, you still can't stick it together.

works so well at glueing the fingers together they now make a surgical grade product. They use it instead of stiches on small kids with small lacerations, I use the reg store brand on paper cuts and when the edges of my fingers crack in the winter months, stings a bit, but works great. But yeah, I have fixed all kinds of stuff with superglue...

Ya gotta be smarter than the tube of glue. I suggest before you start a project with it you have some finger nail polish remover(the kind that has acetone it it) as this dissolves superglue

The stuff bought as Superglue is cyanoacrylate. (something with that many Ys in it would want to be solid stuff!) it will be utilized on metallic and promises a right away solid bond. notwithstanding, the bond weakens after some days. Many metals (pretty aluminium) have an oxide layer. The glue will follow this, notwithstanding the oxide will peel off the metallic. in case you want to adhere an ornamental metallic movie star onto your filing cupboard, cyanoacrylate is nice. in case you want to fix a damaged strut on your metal staircase, you want a diverse attitude.
