Why do people have so much more love for god than for satan? I have yet to meet a person who actualy likes satan more than god. But just think about it. What does god do all day? Not much. Sure, he spreads a little joy here and there, but still, that's obviously not enough. For the rest of his time, he sits back and lets "nature take its course". So while god's sleeping off his lazy asss, satan gets stuck with all the hard work. He works night and day to ensure our lives are as miserable as possible. Look at how much he's done for countries like India, Africa and even China! That guy never sleeps! Im sure he's got dark circles under his eyes and deep wrinkles by now (which makes me wonder if they've got botox in hell). Everyone's saying that if something bad happens, it was god's intention. Well sure it was! Who else is gonna take care of the world while he makes his hot cocoa?
So tell me, doesn't poor satan deserve a little more appreciation than he gets?

Well, for those who believe, there would be no need for God if there was no Satan. What good is a team with no opponent to compete against?
There was an old episode of Star Trek where Capt. Kirk's personality was split into good and evil entities. The "good" kirk could not even function without the "bad" kirk. The lesson being, a little badness is a good thing.
God NEEDS Satan. Without evil there is nothing to compare goodness against.

Fortunately no.
If god sat on his rear all day the world would be in a much worse state. When something bad happens it is not god's intention. We chose to come to this world before we were born. We wanted the challenge of facing the advasary, and said that we could do it with our hands tied behind our backs. Now we realize that satan works in when we make the smallest slip up. God gave us free agency, we can choose the "straight and narrow" or we can choose the seemingly easier, but ultimately dreadful, way of Lucifer.
Satan wants us to live in fear, dread, pain, suffering, but won't automatically pull his cards out He likes to trap you slowly so that you don't realize he is there until he has you in his grasp.
But I must say that a cup of hot cocoa does sound good. :)

In Hinduism, if a god killed an evil person, the evil person would still go to heaven for being prestigiously killed by a god. So it goes to show that different religions teach different things, and the only constant is that nobody gives two sugar blocks about what happens to the evil, only what happens to the humans. ok...so do you really want to spend an eternity in Hell with Satan? Wow...someone who actually feels sorry for Satan? And you ask what does God sit around and do all day???? For one, you wouldn't have the privilege to sit here and blasphemy Him if it weren't for Him giving us Jesus Christ so that we may have eternal life in Heaven....another thing is...He takes care of me and tons of people that i know every single day....let Him into your heart and He can do the same for you...then maybe you'll start to appreciate your very exsistance on this Earth....you should be ashamed for even thinking such thoughts. So you're saying that if you have to choose between a lazy good guy and an industrious SOB that does nothing but spread misery, then you will love the SOB because the poor guy is a hard worker?
Maybe Satan is good at what he does because of his work ethic, but being good at being evil is nothing to be proud of. Of course, it's your choice if you want to appreciate Satan, just be careful what you wish for.

So you are saying that Satan deserves credit for making countries terrible and making sick people murder or rape someone? You are a sick person that needs help. If you knew God then you would not be miserable and you would feel so much better than you do now. Seriously go to church or something before it's too late.

You don't have a big picture. There are too many people who love Satan more than God. That is why they follow him and worship him. Pray for their release. God is awesome. Without Him there would be nothng and life would not continue. All good things come from Him. Praise His Holy Name! I am glad so many do love Him for He alone is Worthy of all praise and honor. Well, I am going to disagree with you. This is NOTHING to think about.
On second thought, I can't let you get off that easy little girl. If God, as you say in your previous post, doesn't decide our paths in life, don't you think that people would decide for themselves when to live or die? We have no control over that. We have no control over if and when we wake up in the morning.
And Satan shouldn't be all that busy. He has minions like yourself helping his crusade.

Have you ever heard of Guardian Angels? Just think of what would happen to some of us if we didn't have them protecting us! God is by FAR "lazy"...we are sinners by nature, we are born into sin! Satan is the one that harms us/ not God. If we reject God's help/Angel's, than that allows Satan and his angel's to get us, we are a target.
Hell's National Anthem is "I'm gonna have it my way"..so, have it your way? The choice is up to us/ we make the choice.!
