help needed with a water theme for halloween?

have seen plenty of the usual scary masks etc, but looking for something like a swap monster, or underwater alien, using some glowsticks maybe..?

it would be pretty cool if you had a pretty big container of somekind to hold a bunch of wather, then have some lights fixed on the surface of water from above mabe red, then underwater use green glow sticks to form youre alien or what not, put dry ice in water to make it foggy and a fan nearby that is triggerd somehow when people walk by to blow fog away. all this would be pretty wild if there was a strobe light to add emphasis

Dress up like the dude on Hellboy. The one with gills, do you know who I'm talking about?
Or maybe you could go as a siryn, like the ones in O, Brother, Where Art Thou. Basically, they're sea creatures (in the movie they looked like women) whose voice could lure men to their death.
