I would like to get the HPV vaccine for my 13 yr old daughter. The vaccine consists of a series of 3 shots and each shot cost approxiamently $125.00. My insurance says this vaccine is not covered. How do I get them to pay for it?

If HPV had the potential to cause cancer in men, I'll bet it would be covered by insurance. I love how they will cover for erectile disfunction pills but until recently, many insurance companies wouldn't cover birth control pills.

I say try. Fight it. Get petitions together. Write letters to the editor. Whatever it takes. Women need to have a strong voice on this issue so that ALL our daughters can be immunized against something that has the potential to kill.

Vaccines are coated by utilising your assurance organization. as a count of actuality no toddler is denied vaccines they are unfastened in case you are able to not pay. To make the bypass to much less complicated on the youngster I advise a small satchel of small exciting products, finding on age of youngster. those products are in basic terms to be taken out for the Dr. appointment. to maintain them busy and not have them getting too many germs left in the back of from the quicker ill clinics. do not tell the youngster too some distance in improve. An hour could suffice that way it quite is quite like working an consumer-friendly errand and the youngster is quite not worrying for days foremost as much as appointment. As for the tylenol 30 min. in the past the bypass to is a super concept for vaccinactions. For a ill bypass to do not supply them any so surgeon will know in the event that they are working a temperature.

when you find out, please tell me! i'm getting it for my daughter even if I have to skip a bill. ask the doctor's office if there is any kind of sliding scale. call the insurance company and ask for an appeal or an exception, just don't give up. HPV kills!
