I didn't realize that americans dying in a foreign nation was so funny. Apparently that guy thinks it is. THERE IS NOTHING FUNNY ABOUT AMERICANS DYING!

This guy supports the war, endlessly hawks, and believe American sacrifice is acceptable to "save" Iraq. Then he adds a questions about liberals rejoing over the war death toll!

Most libs want our brave heros to come home and let the Iraqis run their own nation.

I support the war effort becuase everyone should have freedom. I do not find American deaths funny and I think about the soldiers everyday. The Iraqis will be able to run their nation in due time hopefully.

Well some fear the same thing will happen in Iraq, as did with Vietnam. Protesting outside a grave yard praising (josh) for the death of American soldiers is over the line though.

Names of religious figures have been changed to protect their identity.

Maybe he is just as upset and angry as most of American's are, and lashing out. I dont know him, but a lot of Conservatives, Republican's are angry that Liberals act like cowards, the one's who go out and protest against the war, and what our brave soldier's hear about what American's think on the news, brings their moral down, and could very well have a big influence on whether or not we win the war. Remember Vietnam?
Of course we all want Iraq to run their own country and let us go home, but remember please, that Iraq is NEW to freedom, they haven't had time to adjust as to what to do to run a free country. There are still terrorists out there, Irag does have their own military now, and is fighting the same as we American's. They still need training, and our help.
President George Bush Jr. made a PROMISE to the people and government of Iraq, that we will NOT desert them! I am with Mr. Bush, and doing the right thing, which is to help protect our new friends, we cannot leave them now, or it will have all been for naught. The death's of our fine soldier's, the tears of the newly freed Iraqi women, and the new found laughter of their children. Iraq cannot fight inhumanity alone. There are people on the streets of Iraq, men women and children, praising our name (USA), and begging us not to leave, yet. Be patient please, give the soldier's a boost of pride to know that they are loved, and thanked by all of we American's who stayed home. We owe them that. Take Care

It's idiotic in the extreme. I have to question not only the sanity, but the intelligence, of neo-cons who spend their time trying to paint liberals and Democrats (not necessarily the same thing) as cowards who just don't love their country as much as they and their cohorts do. They are quickly losing the support they used to have from moderates and Independent voters - I know, I'm one of them.

It's hard not to question their intelligence when they choose to ignore the realities of what is happening in Iraq and in the Middle East in general and act as though we are actually winning this debacle. Forget the Democrats - what happens when they see Republicans or retired generals who served in Iraq state their opposition to how this war is being handled? Do they just stick their fingers in their ears and chant lalalalala? There is no excuse for attacking realists because your ego is too big to admit that that it's all coming apart right in front of you. Pathetic, truly pathetic. It would seem to me that those who want us out of Iraq ASAP have more concern for what the troops are going through than these neo-cons who accuse others of cowardice and liberalism. You don't have to be a liberal to see what's happening in Iraq but you'd have to be blind, deaf and dumb - and intentionally so - to continue bleating such slander about your fellow Americans who love their country too. It's disgusting...

you say that you've interior information from a military base that the Marines are going to be "charged and despatched to reformatory". Didnt you miss out the minor component of having an ordeal and picking guilt or innocence before passing sentence??

well it is truth in what he said He just brought it out wrong. He is not laughing about it and to blatantly lie about it is sad at how low liberals will go. You even said earlier today about how calling people out was wrong but I guess the hypocrite side of your party kicked in. Most libs (on answers) want America to lose in the name of the elections So sad that our world has come to this (and I am talking about both sides) BTW a lib asked today about not seeing American caskets on TV Where is your outrage over that? Is this how liberals really act

like the war or not, agree with why we are there or not, no one likes the death count of our soldiers, and to disrespect them for a political gain weather Rep.or Dem. is a very serious injustice to our fallen hero's memories.

The point he was trying to make, I believe, is that some liberals, in some way, like it when the tally of American deaths is shown, because it makes Bush look bad.

I am forced to wonder one thing... it would seem that they feel that if they were in our position, that they would dance over this issue (if it was a democratic president)... therefore they think that we are doing this...

I have not seen anyone dance over this.. in fact, if anything, it is just making people more upset about the whole situation...
