You do have all the signs and you may not be too skinny. this illness starts of most often with people that want to lose a few pounds and get caught up in it or someone that has always been thin and has a huge fear of gaining weight. when I was young I was 5'5" and 86 pounds. I did not think I was skinny. I see pictures now and I know I was too thin. I was in my 30's before I gained control. Please consider counseling

hey i hope u are not annorexic. but a few quick questions...
first what is your body mass index? ( should be within normal range--> if less u are overexercising and overdieting)
secondly are you planning your diet in a healthy way too include all the basic nutrients that u need?( less amount of the necessary fatty acids will cause big problems with your hormones)
third do u feel like binging or overeating when u are depressed or at home alone and vomit out food that u have overeaten?( you could then be having bulemia nervosa)
besides anorexia is not the only thing that gives you irregular periods.( there is a long differential list)
if you are really worried go check up with an obstetric doctor
hoping that somewhat helps. all the best.

I just had anorexia a year ago and I think I lost up to 5 to 8 pounds in 5-7 days. These are all the signs, please I beg of you go seek help because anorexia WILL kill you.Todays society is filled with magazines of skinny girls page after another,so I know the pressure. What I did not get out of it is I just started eating because I coudn't take it anymore.I started eating a lot and I just walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes and drank plenty of water. If you need anymore help look for doctors and email me if you have any questions.

i have anorexia right now, i am trying to get over it. i have lost 7 pounds in the past 2 months. I am fixing it by making myself eat the fattiest foods that i can and the stuff that i really love. Since the two go hand in hand it isn't hard for me. If you think that you can't get through it with eating food then you should definitely go to your doctor and talk to him. I haven't yet told my doctor because i am trying to do it on my own...but you should go and get help if it gets really bad. my best friend was anorexic....just have fun with your friends and get some help from them...tell them to get you to eat more foods, that helped me alot too...hope this helps

You need to seek some professional help with this. You can't do it by yourself. You are messing up you body and it could cause some serious problems later on if you don't stop now. You may have messed up your metabolism already. Get some help.

Explain all this to your mom, and ask to find a therapist who deals with eating disorders. If you're not comfortable talking with the mom, make an appointment with the school counselor. If you don't know where to find the school counselor, ask the nurse.

Please go see your doctor ASAP. my older sister almost died from anorexia and bulimia. She has been fighting these diseases for 11 years now, but with help from her family and doctors she has reached a healthy weight. You might not see yourself as being skinny but you might be, as people w/ these diseases have a distorted mental body image. my sister went from 140 lbs. to 78 lbs in 6 months and almost died. please seek help for yourself and for your family's sake!
