GLS are 'General Lighting Service' bulbs. i.e Normal clear or pearl tungsten lamps.

i think but not 100% certain but they might energy saving and last longer than the normal ones hope this is helpful !

look on froogle (go to google first and then goto the side) they will probably try to sell you them and that will give you lots of information about them
