My first question is why do you want to get rid of the damsel?
please don't flush the fish, find a store that you can donate it too.
As far as how do you get him out... you can place his fav food and when he comes up to eat it scoop him out... I will tell you getting him out will be a challenge, especially with corals. You may be out of luck with that. Good luck in your venture.

Getting a distinctive tank for this fish, or giving it to somebody, could be extra humane than killing it, yet once you may desire to.... MS222 is the only drug regularly used as a humane thank you to kill a fish in the U. S.. it is a fish tranquilizer which will kill a fish in case you overdose with it. Tranquilize the fish with the main appropriate dose, then upload a 2nd, deadly, dose. Clove oil has been used as a fish anesthetic, even though it is not any longer reliable and the fish is in all probability conscious in the process the approach. An overdose could kill, yet could no longer be secure or humane. putting a fish into ice water or boiling water could kill it, yet could be painful. The fish's reactions could demonstrate that it is reacting in soreness. For human beings, freezing to dying is one in all the main painful deaths, up till the final degree whilst unconsciousness gadgets in. Stabbing a fish straight away in the strategies could kill it right now if performed precisely actual. The soreness could be short yet severe. do no longer flush the fish, alive or ineffective. unique micro organism or fish parasites that our close by fish have not been uncovered to and have not have been given any resistance to could desire to be presented into the ambience. Bury it outdoors under a bush or tree and quickly conceal it with a heavy rock to circumvent animals from digging it up. Or positioned it interior a plastic bag, and that one in yet another plastic bag and positioned it in the trash.

First, as others said, feed them...they'll come up to eat, then scoop them and place them in a baggie with tank water.
Then, whatever you do, don't, I repeat, don't flush them or release them into the wild.
You should either take them back to the Local Fish Store, or sell them to someone who is willing to buy (ebay is a great place to find buyers)
