If someone asks you if you had a "good" weekend, you can surely answer a resounding "Yes!" if you did something of your own choosing, participated in something that is meningful to you, like a hobby-such as gardening, cross country skiing, etc.-and if you were around people that you care about-family or friends. Good food usually factors in, somehow, and you relax and unwind from the "rush-and-hurry" pace of the working world. It's not a specific thing or people, just what/who you personally LOVE. Hope this helps! Personally, I enjoy going out to a movie with my kids after we eat out, then we sleep in late the next morning and I make Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes for breakfast. Then, we play N64 games all day & go to church on Sunday morning, eat lunch, and nap in the afternoon. Later, I get to visit with a friend or neighbor, uninterrupted. Relaxed, rested, and ready to face the work week! Mmmm...

Providing the weather is good, sightseeing among any of the national parks is tops. Especially the Grand Canyon in the summer. Otherwise, visiting the largest cities such as NY, LA or Chicago and exploring the inner buildings.

We just relax if we don't have to work. We hang out and be with friends. On sundays some people go to church. Hanging out and relaxing is the american weekend. Some people go on a short vacation.

Depends on the person. I always do something with my family and that is a good weekend. Having the Steelers win on Sunday helps.
