there is no such thing as old play or new play,
just play
read books
let him play with cups
sing songs
let me remind you, he is only 3 MONTHS OLD....
he still has to learn to roll, to sit, to walk!!!
let children develop naturally!

try talking to it...the baby doesn't really respond back, but it teaches it to hear new words that it could learn for the future.. By playing with it.. do your own fun work..! The baby will see you and will imitate you.. peekaboo... simon says.. be creative. do artwork.. and yes.. your probably saying.. 3 MONTHS OLD ! Well..yes it's pretty young to start this.. but really.. it's never to late. try everything.. but do wat you'll like to do to!

try a mirror. babies love to look in the mirror. play some music. and dance with him/her. A sense of rhythm is great, he/she will pick music up and enjoy it. read to your baby. even if you don't think they can understand, reading even at this age is great. It is hearing your voice in a rhythm that they enjoy. good luck.

At 3 months I always worked with my children by trying to get them to reach for a toy or follow things with their eyes and experimenting with ways to make them giggle. They love to laugh.
