I paid around $100 for mine and I got the silver alloy one.
I wore it until after I graduated from high school and it has been living in my jewelry box for ten years.

Yes, I did have a class ring in the mid 60's & I still have it & it still fits. My ring was gold (probably gold plated) & had a black onyx setting, with a "19" on one side of the setting & a "64" on the other side. I seem to recall that it cost right around $30, but that was a long time ago. Class of '64 was the best!!!!

I spent the money on my college education instead. Class rings are very tacky and I never see people wearing them anyway.
But, hey, if it's your thing.. That's cool, then maybe you didn't get ripped off afterall.
