America touts itself as the land of the free.
well, as long as you aren't gay, for instance. If you are gay, many rights afforded the rest of society tend to be held back. This stems from the country narrow-mindedly holding on to outdated and often downright silly "Christian" beliefs. It has been said many times: Religion and its belief systems have no place in government policy.

Being with another man isnt for me but if nothing should hold you back from getting married. I know it's a sin but alot of stuff people are sins. Sex before marriage, tattoos, stealing, etc. So i believe gay marriage should be allowed.

I think it should be allowed. What is the harm?
Edit: What is with some of these answers? "Fagotry is a crime against nature"? No one can logically claim that instinct defies nature. And I seriously doubt that anyone is faking or forcing an attraction to the same sex.

No faggotary is a crime against nature. If those fools want to butt f each other and keep it out of sight, thats one thing, but marriage was made for a man and a woman, not two homos

Well i'm not happy about this subject. Gays have been around forever and why now of all times are they asking to be married. This has turned into a 'me me me' society. What ever happened to this country's morals?
*EDIT* hahah paul (post below me). I almost choked...

It shouldn't be called Marriage. Perhaps some Relationship contract. The Gay community has been seeking for thousands of years to be considered normal...It's not...it never will be.
However they should be able to consecrate in some manner
without persecution, dependent coverage etc.....Just don't tell my children its normal....There is nothing normal about not procreating.

Will it then be okay to marry your German Shepherd? Or have 7 husbands? Where do you draw the line?

Should we allow freedom? America is starting to become flawed in it's "beliefs"
