if a relationship doesnt work out no matter how much each of you try; with no good results in the end...l.how many believe that the universe is just not allowing this balance between the two because their destiny is to not be together?

i believe that. i think that destiny and like the universe and God and everything have a plan for everyone. so if something doesnt work out it wasnt meant to be. and i think that everything happens for a reason.

Any relationship (well nearly any)can work if there is compromise
however this compromise maybe more than one or both parties want to make ......really in any relationship there is always some compromise.but the idea of putting this lack of compromise on to the universe......could be just a bit of an avoidance technique...

You and a another person are in the relationship nothing else

Why would anyone think the universe is to blame for anything

If this was so then we (collectively) could say the universe was to blame for every or anything

I did not win the lottery... the universe withheld the right numbers from me....see what I mean
What I am getting at is the concept of personal responsibility which includes your own thoughts

We are all free to do and say what we like .......but not free to choose the consequences.......

We all should take responsibility for what we think and do ....
Indeed must or society will stop working

well im going to just explain my situation. my girlfriend is a aries. and i am a capricorn. when we do the compability thing here on yahoo, it says that we will have a hard time getting along becuase of our nature. i always like to be right, and she does also. so when we argue, we dont necessarily argue because of a situation, we argue because each of us wants to prove the other one wrong.

now in your case, you say that the relationship doesnt work out no matter how hard you try, and that you think that its just because its not your destiny to be together. i personally believe that you create your own destiny. if you really want something ( to fix the relationship ) then you will find any means possible to fix it. a relationship is the toughest job on the maket, but if you get it right, it can lead to alot of happiness. that is why if you try and you try to fix things, and still it doesnt work, first figure out why its not working, then figure out what it is that needs to be done in order to solve problems.

so basically destiny has nothing to do with it. its on you. and believe me when i say this. my girl and i have been together for 2 years ( 730 days) and out of that time, we have argued 700 days...but we still are together, and we still love eachother, and little by little, things will get solved.

PS. sorry for boring you guys with relationship crap, but i believe that in order to solve a problem you need to look at previous solutions to similar problems.

well, that could be true, but if a relationship isn't working out even when both people are trying their hardest, its very possible to maintain togetherness. It depends on how far you will go to stay together. If not, then its best to find someone else, and stay friends

i dont believe in fate or what so ever. everyone has the power to change things.the effort is important. what makes you to think that you two cant be together? even if you have tried everything, what else is making both of you to conclude this? that means, either one of you are not satisfied with something.so, voice it out. what is not being enough in the relationship? confront each other.

No! You make your own destiny. On the other hand, if it doesn't work, it probably has more to do with something that just isn't compatible between you two that you just don't realize yet. Trust your subconcious intuition and end it now.

No. If you both try & cannot except each other, move on & find some one who can, find your inner peace first, then you will run parallel with your destiny.

Destiny suggests we have no free will. If you have no free will, then did you really make the ultimate effort to get along?
