For the type competition that American Idol is...the best they've had is Kelly Clarkson. She fits the mold of a pop idol, and she has a very good and distinctive voice.

I'm not an extremely huge Kelly Clarkson fan but I give props when they're due. Kelly's camp is smart, she not only sings Pop, she's seen all over the place. I know there's been 3 winners since Kelly but she's EVERYWHERE!!!

I know he didn't win but Bo Bice. Kelly comes off like a sell out, Ruben isn't doing anything, Fantasia's 15 minutes have long since ended and having her play herself in her documentary is vain, Carrie's okay, Clay comes off a little annoying, there's nothing special about Taylor, and Katherine looked like a giant fake.

I automatically have 2 say Kelly Clarkson. i mean she is so talented. i love all of her songs: BECAUSE OF YOU, WALK AWAY, BEHIND THESE HAZEL EYES. She totally rocks American Idol!!!!!!!!!
