Can someone tell me how to make a good home made custome to wear for halloween night?

I have made a couple of homemade costumes....but they are usually funny! Here is a few. One year I was grapes! I wore a a purple jogging suit and pinned purple balloons all over. I wore a brown boogin with a green felt leaf glued on it! Then another year I was a slice of pizza. I went to the bed store and purchased two sheets of foam. I glue the edges together leaving the bottom open to slide over my head. I left two holes in the sides for my arms, and I cut a hole in the front for my head! I them took red and white spray paint and messily gave it some color. I sponged some brown paint on for the crust and then cut out mushrooms and pepperonis out of foam sheets from Wal-Mart. Glue those on and Voila! You have Pizza! The last costume I did was Mac and Cheese. I took those styrofoam wreaths from Wal-Mart and cut them in two or three pieces. I painted them yellow and sponges a little bit of orange paint on them. I glued them on a yellowish-orange jogging suit! It was funny! Well I hope that helps! GOOD LUCK and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
