We can't discriminate against anyone because of race, creed, sex, or religion, but it's OK to discriminate and make fun of someone for being fat? When you put someone down for being fat, are you really concerned for their health and welfare, or are you simply concerned with putting someone down?

I personally don't make fun of fat people. However, I have a problem with people who are overweight and complain about it, but continue to eat stuff that's bad for them and don't exercise. If they want to be overweight, that's fine, but quit complaining about it it you're not going to do anything about it. BTW I changed my lifestyle and have lost close to 35 lbs and can now fit into clothes I could wear in high school, so I know it can be done.

Technically, calling a person fat is objective. Merely an observation. But the way people use it, they treat it as something negative, so now it is.
It's not that people are fat that's the problem. It is their eating and excercising habits. If a person eats healthy, and excercises regularly and they're still fat, they're healthy.

as a lady that weighs only 118, if I was with a friend or loved that was overweight, they would have my size 7 foot right up were the sun don't shine! how mean!

fat and skinny are the some to me as black and white..
people are people and will mess with any thing they can becauce they are not happy with them selfs and the only way they can make them selfs feel better about them selfs is to find things they think are wrong about others and try to make them feel bad to make them selfs feel better by putting you down.
ok your fat be happy about it and get over it and if you cant do that do some thing about.........
