I need to hire an attorney to get my Marriage annuled. I have noticed that the fees are HUGE!!! One guy quoted me 3 thousand dollars to file all of the paperwork. I have to pay others at least 100 bucks to get JUST A CONSULTATION!!!! I don't have this kind of money being a single parent and all. I don't know where else to turn, does anyone have any ideas on how to get lower cost services??

I don't expect FREE services, I know that law school takes tons of time and money, I just don't know where to come up with 3 thousand dollars and how people can even manage to find that kind of money.

Call legal aid in your state and ask for a referral to a lawyer.
Call the state licensing board for lawyers in your state and ask for a referral to a lawyer
Call the local welfare office and ask for a referral to legal aid or an lawyer in your area.

Divorce is expensive. It's a nasty area of the law and not much fun to practice, and most clients don't actually appreciate anything done for them, and sometimes even blame the attorney for the mess they got themselves into. I don't blame them for wanting thousands up front. I won't even make an appointment on a divorce matter, I'd rather work at McDonald's.
$3000 up front probably isn't unreasonable, and $100 to talk about it is fair. All the attorney has to sell is his time and advice, you can't expect to get that for free.

Why do you need an annulment if he was still married when he married you unless it is legal in your state you can't be married to two women at the same time I would have him locked up for bigamy It is a FELONY punishable by prison from 2 to 5 years

I've seen people get a complete divorce without a lawyer. In Texas, anyone can file their own paperwork and represent themselves (in open and shut cases like yours)

search for a lower cost "legal clinic" in your area
the office may not be as nice or as beautiful but you may be able to get lower cost representation especially if its uncontested and the marriage is less than a year, also you may be able to pay them in payments
if children and custody are involved though it will cost more
