I think the taboo surrounding it makes the brain think, "eww! Gross!" and they don't find each other attractive. I also think though that there are rare occasions where maybe they have no one else and turn to each other, ie those weirdos you see on Jerry Springer.

Sure it is possible. Watch Jerry Springer for some real life cases of sibling love. But most of us are taught very early that that kind of thing is inappropriate and don't have those feelings or the gull to act upon them. It's also adaptive to abstain from sibling love since the children would have a greater chance of being born with deformities and disabilities.

It can be possible, but I know about a lot of people who get married between brothers and sisters and their kids have genetic abnormalities. A lot of people consider that as a sin too. I would not recommend that kind of feelings.

usually only if they were raised apart and meet accidentally as adults.there is a habituation that takes place in child hood that prevnts one from being excited by someone u see day in,day out.especially someone who shares ur genes.if raised apart,it can occur,as u have personality traits in common.people like lord byron, who meet half-siblings as adults, sometimes feel attracted,as he and his half-sister did.people raised on kibbutzes and communes are said not to be very attracted,if at all,to people they were raised communally with, even if they are not genetically related-they are so habituated, these people are like true siblings.this habituation is probably natures way of ensuring that we diversify the gene pool and avoid the genetic weaknesses inherint in inbreeding.

the only thing stopping people is society, it would be so wrong to other people that nobody will do it for fear of being judged. also, you grow up with them all of your lives and get sick of them. if you grew up in a different family, and you met your brother in your teen years and didnt know he was your brother, it is ppossible to have an attraction to him. you can also have an attraction to them if they aren't your real blood related brother.

there may be a sexual attraction at times.. but acting upon it is simply wrong.... society tells us that incest is wrong... mainly becuse if sisters and brothers have offspring, they can suffer mutations like being born without fingernails, a disease that could be linked to a number of genetically caused abnormalities....

I think attraction can be normal part of finding yourself during younger years. But intelligent people know that such behavior as you suggest is completely shunned by society, and any in-breeding gets you mentally or physically deficient off-spring. DON'T GO THERE.

of direction it quite is a threat. extraordinarily in case you probably did not improve up mutually, for the reason which you do not improve the familiarity ingredient and you're in basic terms a boy/lady to a minimum of one yet another. in case you probably did improve up mutually commonly you do improve what's referred to as an ''ick'' ingredient and you're actually not fascinated in one yet another sexually. although, in the experience that your loved ones situation is abusive or you have emotionally distant mothers and dads - it does ensue that siblings turn to a minimum of one yet another for love and convenience and that they improve sexual attraction in direction of one yet another. So sure, the reason being quite often psychological.
