I would have to say Elvis even though I'm not a big fan of his I would rather listen to Michael Jackson thought. I guess really depends on what time period you want to talk about too.

I'd have to say "The King Of Pop"....Michael Jackson. He alone raise the bar when it came to music videos. He single handedly showcased the marriage of music to dazzling choreography and ultimately was the first artist featured in a string of high budget music videos. Today he continues to have the highest selling release in recording history, "Thriller" only to be tied by the Eagles' "When Hell Freezes Over".
No one entertains, electrifies, defies the laws of gravity and Moonwalks better than my man Michael Jackson!!!

i don't like either one of them, and i could never understand why people would get so excited about elvis.
in the case of who is the most influential, i would have to say elvis, cuz the only reputation that micheal jackson has nowadays is being a perv.

I think Elvis influenced the most "change" in style, type of music and performance; Michael Jackson, in his better days (70's-early/mid 80's), kicked it up for his "time" with more choreography and stimulating vocals....Elvis was better, though, in my opinion....

Neither - Johnny Cash, Jim Morrison, Bob Dylan, Mick Fleetwood.
So much more influential that either of those.
