McGuiars Hot Chrome. (My experience has been good using this to take care of brake dust, light rust, and road grime).Spray on, use gloves, elbow grease if necessary, rinse, dry. Apply a good chrome polish or wax when finished. More cost/time effective in the long haul. Remember we only chrome for vanity s sake, take time to enjoy the ride of your shiny beast.

Meguires I think make a power ball polisher, and an array of cleaners. The ball ran me 25 bucks, and you can pick out your own cleaner. They shine like crazy after that.
I removed all my wheels one weekend and spent about an hour on each, that's even taking the tire off as well, have fun good luck
