as soon as a girl gets her first period she can get pregnant. so yes, even 9 & 10 yr olds that get theirs that early can get pregnant! I just hope I never hear of one!

A female can get pregnant from the first time she ovulates, which is about two weeks before her first period. The age of the female isn't as important as her height:weight ratio. The current research suggests that for a girl to mature physically, she must have a certain percntage of body fat first. This usually happens between 11 and 13, though with more hormones in our meat, and with childhood obesity on the rise, some girls are maturing earlier, even at seven or eight. Other girls who are very thin, wither naturally or because of an eating disorder, tend to mature later, or if they already have their periods and lose a lot of weight, they may lose their periods because their bodies don't have enough fuel to keep that cycle going.

It is possible to get pregnant at whatever age her ovaries begin to release eggs. That age varies with individuals but can range from 9-10 up to the teens.

A girl can get pregnant as soon as she's had a period, meaning that although I'm only 13, I could theoreticaly make a baby even though mom thinks I'm 1 myself. See, I've had a period since I was like 12.5, so its important for me to not go out wit boys who would like me to sleep with them cuz girls can get pregnant as soon as they get their period.
