I think Calvin and Hobbes should remain a comic strip, no one could do it justice in a movie or tv show. I just wish Bill Waterston would come out of retirement and do some new ones.

taking the idea too far can sometimes destroy it.
lets take examples.....
see what happened when they made Garfield the movie... it was awful. same goes for the phantom movie.
Calvin and Hobbes will not be exciting enough in an animation or any other media other than comics.... just my opinion.
