When wearing a skirt in the winter I normally wear Marks and Spencer 60 denier opaque tights (pantyhose) with either my boots or shoes
I have them in varius colours so that i can match them to whatever outfit i wear
I find them very comfortable and hard wearing as they are the only tights that never seem to get ladders in them

I love Leggs Control Top Pantyhose...I wear pantyhose every day (work,shopping,etc), and feel absolutely sexy in them!

I don't wear them myself but I do encourage my lady friends to wear Wolford brand pantyhose. They are completely seamless and most importantly sheer and silky. A little pricey, about $40.00 but very well worth it.

I believe long skirts are great, you're covered up without the restrictions of pants.

I think short dresses, coz you show off more lower limbs, but really it doesn't matter both should go great

i only wear them with short skirts, i like silks control top. I like stockings and garter belt better.

I like L'eggs Sheer Energy. They are durable and don't cost an arm and a leg.

Spanx. You can buy them at Nordstrom (or Nordstrom.com) and they are a little pricier than the drugstore variety, but they are FAB!
