Well there is http://www.m-w.com/. That's the website for Merriam-Webster Online dictionary. There's also http://www.bartleby.com/61/. That is the website for the American Heritage dictionary. Hope this helps!

Try going to the Yahoo home page, in education is a reference section with a dictionary, thesaurus, Spanish translation, etc.
