I've noticed that my 1 yr. old has been getting the chills lately. He got one on Saturday, two on Sunday and 1 on Monday. He didn't have a feber, nor it was cold in the room. It has never happened before, only like twice when he was a new born. Other thatn that he's been acting normal, he's very active and eating fine.

What could it be? Should I worry? You know, as a first time mom I worry about every little detail! :'(

One of my twins just got the chills this afternoon. She shuddered her shoulders. I thought that was funny because the room was not cold. Although, they are in a onesie right now and it is October.

But even I get the chills sometimes and shudder my shoulders.

And I too am a first time Mommy at 35 years old.

I would not worry. If adults can get the chills, I am sure babies and young children can too..

Hope this helps you..

I don't think there is anything to be worried about. My 10 month old daughter has gotten the chills just once and that was the other day when she peed in her bath. But if you ain't really sure talk to the docter and get his opinion.

I don't think your baby has the chills, per se. My daughter often has a whole body shudder when she is very excited or entertained. My cousin does the same thing and his mom says she thinks he is experiencing "pure bliss". Either way, if you are concerned, see your baby's doctor.

there are many types for epilepsy not only what u think (major tonic and clonic) some of them presented by the pic u said so u must notice its number ,duration and what is the association and if ther are any alternation in ur babys activity ...my advise is to see ur pediatrician for full neurological assesment

It shouldn't be a big deal but take him to the pediatrician to be sure.
