What happens during a facial? I am really considering having one done and I would like to know what they entail before I do.

A full facial normally consists of:

facial massage with a cream/liquid of your choice
face steaming for about 30 mins to open the pores
Pricking the pimples/blackheads/whiteheads
Putting a strong chemical exfoliator to close the pores and peel the skin
putting cream (normally to ease the sting of the chemical exfoliator)

I'm an estetician and a basic facial consist of: cleanse (sometimes 2x),exfoliation (usually a scrub),steam for max 10 min.) than extraction (no more than 10 min),,disinfection with the high frequency( the machine,it doesn't hurt),massage for 10 min, mask for your skin type then toner and finally a hydrating cream. Its very relaxing and enjoyable,so enjoy it!
