No, you shouldn't have to choose between your friends and your husband. Hiding male friends from your husband is not a good idea! When people are married, they should have mutual friends. I know all of my fiance's friends and he knows all of mine and they have since become MUTUAL friends. You shouldn't have any guy friends that your husband doesn't know about and he shouldn't have any female friends that you don't know about.

Many men start the abuse cycle with their wives by cutting them off from all their supportive friends and relatives. If you are not allowed to have friends because your husband says so, it is time to get out of the relationship before things get worse.

What do you mean your not "allowed"? You shouldn't have to hide your friends and don't lie to your husband about it. Can't your friends be friends to your husband as well?

Your husband has a insecurity and he does not trust you around your male counter parts. If your friendships are platonic then you husband should trust you. Talk to your husband because you should not be put this type pediment.

No you shouldnt have to choose, loving someone isnt telling them what they can and cant do, its making them happy and it doesnt sound like your very happy.
