The blood food your miracle medicine listed some, but I can't find my copy...the foods that were generally bad for everything were alcohol and high fat animal foods. She also recommends healthy foods for this problem.

But why not try to reverse your high blood pressure by eliminating or reducing the plague on your arteries/veins that causes it narrowing the tube your blood flows through like a narrow hose increases the pressure more than a wide hose.

The book left for dead tells how the author did this and prevented a 2nd triple bypass surgery that didn't really help the first time. He did this by taking cayenne and raw fresh garlic a few times a day. Together they reverse plague (occasionally you may substitute kyolic and only kyolic garlic). The hotter the cayenne, the better.

Garlic helps aid in lowering blood pressure. I have been doing this for years. Keep away from as much sodium in foods as possible and cut out all table salt. Also try some herbs with calming effect such as Passion Flower and Black Haw. Hawthorn also helps lower blood pressure and is good for the heart. People with high blood pressure should stay away from Panax Ginseng and Licorice Root. Both can raise blood pressure. Best wishes for a healthy life.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

I would also suppliment your diet with Garlic Pills or Vinegar Pills. I know they both seem like they would stink (literally :) ) but you can usually find them at your local pharmacy or health food store with an enteric coating. The enteric coating keeps the pill from tasting too nasty going down and it helps aleviate stomach and intestinal problems associated with foods like garlic or vinegar.

As far as the baddies for high blood pressure Stay away from the salt. Here are some tips for reducing your salt intake:

1. Do not salt your food. This seems like a given but a lot of people add excess salt to their food to make it more tasty. Instead, reach for fresh or dried herbs to make your food better tasting.

2. Stay away from junk food. You should already be doing this as part of a healthy diet to lower your high blood pressure, but incase you're not, don't buy snack foods by the case. A lot of companies are now creating "snack packs" or something of the sort which give you a single serving of that food. It's okay to have junk food every once in a while, but don't sit down to a bag of cheese curls and munch until it's gone.

3. Cook. By cooking I don't mean heat something up out of a can or a box. Cook! There are plenty of fresh veggies and fruits at your local supermarket. They are low in fat ,low in sodium, and high up on the taste scale. Prepare veggies the night before and then you don't have to worry about the time it takes to prep before you cook.

4. Stop eating fast food! They salt almost all their products and they fry in grease. You don't want that for your heart, do you?

Thats my rant on salt I suppose, and that's the number one thing that came to mind. Limit your salt intake and it will help you loads.
