NYG fan here - he had no heart; he wanted to be a TV star more than he wanted to play football - even if playing 2-3 more seasons would have put him among the all time greats. He truly was one of the 2-3 most versatile RB's in history - walking away when he was still putting up 2,000 yards from scrimmage per year just shows he had no heart. Jacobs is a beast, but as he showed repeatedly Sunday night, he can't catch the ball. That's why Barber was so very dangerous.

He shouldn't retire right now since he is having a great year. If he retires now he probably won't get into the Hall of Fame.

Tiki is not a bad player and their are many teams that would jump if they could sign him, last season he was the only RB close to alexanders 1880 rushing yards...

He has more rushing yards than any other RB so far this year...
I think most any team would be happy to have him...he's awesome...and he gets overlooked more than any other good RB. You gotta give him credit.
As far as him retiring....I don't know for sure...word is he is....

he's tired of getting hit, it's not unusual for rbs to retire early; jim brown, barry sanders....
I wouldn't be surprised if he did retire.

as an eagles fan i would LOVE to see tiki retire. its not like we won't MURDER them the next time we see them, but he's always giving us a damned problem. brandon jacobs isn't a dominant enough player (YET) to give us many issues, but give him some time and he'll be a BEAST.
