**Craigslist**: Do competitors flag each others posts for deletion?

Question

I've sold some stuff on craigslist that get almost instant responses from rabid buyers. Oddly enough these posts are often removed by "flagging", when there is nothing wrong with them. Are the posts being tampered with by people who don't want someone beating them to a buy? or maybe by sellers who don't want competition?

i saw craig on tv awhile back saying that flagging others posts won't get them deleted.
