Other things they like to look at is parallel parking. Don't forget to check your side and rear-view mirrors, hands at 10&2 position and hand over hand when turning. If you come to an intersection that has a hedge on the corner....remember to stop at the stop sign, then AGAIN at the edge of the hedge to see if it's clear to proceed.
PS- If you fail the first test, you won't exploid. Your arms will just fall off. lol

Remember to breathe and stay calm! The driver's license examiner is there to help you get your driver's license; they are not trying to keep you from getting one. Buckle your seat-belt and ask the examiner to do the same. They will say no, but it shows concern for your passenger's safety. Then just go out for a drive, pretend you're with your mom or a friend. Do what they ask you to do. If you don't understand what they are asking, ask them to explain. But above all else ... remember to breathe!!!!

Ensure that you check/adjust all mirrors, lock doors, check your signals and brake lights. Drive with your headlights on as a safety precaution. Use your signal for all lane changes and turns. Follow all traffic signs. Do NOT look at tester while driving. When parallel parking, turn to look at space as you back in to it.

And above all DO NOT speed.

Remember to look when you go through blind intersections. I'm sure the interviewer will take you through residential streets, and if you go past an intersection with no stop sign on any side, make sure you slow down and flip your head from side to side slowly!
